Mortise

A lock designed to be recessed into the door rather than applied to the door's surface.

Cylindrical

A bored lock with a cylindrical case into which a separate latch bolt case fits.

High Security Keyed Systems

    • All high security keyed systems need to have an authorized signature from owner or end-user to purchase keys
    • Keys can only be purchased through authorized distributors
    • Many high security cylinders also available in UL437 burglary resistant

Interchangeable Core Cylinders (IC Core Cylinders)

    • Allows the immediate rekeying of a lock by replacing the cylinder without having to remove the lock from the door
    • Cylinder can be removed only with specially designed control key
    • Some high security IC cores available

  • Outside lever locked by push button on inside lever
  • Outside lever unlocked by rotating inside lever or by closing door
  • Inside lever always free


Office/Entrance

  • Turn/push button locking; pushing and turning button locks outside lever, requiring use of key until button is manually unlocked
  • Push button locking; pushing button locks outside lever until unlocked by key or by turning inside lever
  • Inside lever always free


Office/Privacy

  • Outside lever locked by inside push button
  • Outside lever unlocked by using key or rotating inside lever
  • Inside lever always free


Classroom

  • Outside lever locked or unlocked by key
  • Inside lever always free


Storeroom

  • Outside lever always locked
  • Latchbolt retracted by key in outside lever or by turning inside lever
  • Inside lever always free


Vestibule

  • Outside lever locked or unlocked by key in inside lever

Communicating

  • Key in either lever locks or unlocks its own lever (independently)
  • Function should not be used on rooms which have no other entrance

  • Both levers always locked

Exit

  • Outside lever always fixed
  • Inside lever always unlocked


Corridor Lock

  • Locked or unlocked by key from outside
  • Push-button locking from inside. Turning inside lever or closing door releases button


Store Lock

  • Key in either lever locks or unlocks both levers


Service Station

  • Outside lever locked by push button on inside
  • Outside lever unlocked by using key or rotating inside lever
  • Inside lever always free


Hotel/Motel

  • Push button shuts out all keys except emergency key and projects occupancy indicator in face of cylinder
  • Push button released by turning inside lever or by closing door
  • Outside lever always locked
  • Inside lever always free


Electrically Locked
(Fail Safe)

  • Outside lever continuously locked electrically unless unlocked by key, switch, or power failure
  • Auxiliary latch deadlocks latchbolt when door is closed
  • Inside lever always free to retract latchbolt


Electrically Unlocked
(Fail Secure)

  • Outside lever inoperable unless unlocked by electrical current or by key
  • Auxiliary latch deadlocks latchbolt when door is closed
  • Inside lever always free to retract latchbolt

Push plates

    • Finishes: most architectural finishes, clear plastic
    • Common sizes: 3" x 12", 3 1/2" x 15", 4" x 16", 6" x 16", 8" x 16"
    • Materials available: stainless steel, brass, bronze, aluminum, and clear plastic
    • Adhesive or screw mounting
    • Optional cylinder & turn knob cutouts

Flush pulls

    • For institutional and other architectural custom designs
    • Sizes from 1 7/8" x 3" to 4" x 16"
    • Cast or wrought material
    • Available in most architectural finishes
    • Available with concealed mounting screws

Push & pull bars

    • Essential for full glass doors
    • Available in most architectural finishes
    • Specify center to center dimension for the horizontal and vertical members
    • Round or flat push bars
    • Many different configurations available for single to multiple bar sets
    • Different mounting options available: back to back, thru bolt, or concealed fastener mounting

Pulls & pull plates

    • Pulls can be supplied as pull only or as pull with back plate
    • Various pull styles available: full round, half round, flat, tapered
    • Specify center to center dimension for pull handles
    • Specify size of back plate when required
