For over 80 years Schuham Builder's Supply has been a leading Chicago wholesale distributor of commercial grade hardware, providing same day building supplies to the Chicago land area. Our building contains a factory, where we can fabricates custom steel frames & doors, architectural wood doors, a front counter show room and an office area for clerical and sales staff. Schuham’s management team has been involved in the door and hardware industry for over 60 years.
SBS's primary market is Chicago general contractors, Chicago architects, Chicago masons, and Chicago maintenance department heads. Our material is installed in commercial buildings such as office buildings, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, etc. Our goal is to provide our customers with exceptional customer service and a wide range of architectural hardware. SBS is approved to fire rate doors and frames by Underwriters Laboratory and Warnock Heresy. SBS has a top of the line computer program that allows staff to respond to the customer's needs and in a short span of time.
We are well known in the City of Chicago for our same day building supply solutions and quick response time. Schuham Builder's is composed of approximately ten multi cultural backgrounds. We have bilingual sales persons in Spanish, Polish, and Korean.
Our building supply sales personnel are trained and knowledgeable in blue print reading, building, fire, and handicap codes to meet the City of Chicago ADA codes.
Our Schuham Builder’s Supply truck makes deliveries downtown Chicago at least three times a week. Weekly deliveries are made to the western, southern and northern suburbs of Chicago.
